3A Tourney
The OSAA 3A Basketball Tournament gets underway today at both Marshfield and North Bend high schools. The girls will play their first round games at North Bend, while the boys play at Marshfield. Today’s matchups for the girls: 1:30 p.m., Corbett vs. Vale; 3:15 p.m., St. Mary’s vs. Willamina; 6:30 p.m., Glide vs. Nyssa; 8:15 p.m., Creswell vs. Valley Catholic. Boy’s games: 1:30 p.m., Creswell vs. Valley Catholic; 3:15 p.m., Harrisburg vs. Blanchet Catholic; 6:30 p.m., Amity vs. Portland Adventist Academy; 8:15 p.m., De La Salle North Catholic vs. Cascade Christian.
3A shuttles
Shuttle buses will help those wanting to attend the 3A State Basketball Tournament at Marshfield High School this week. Buses will tour parking lots at 4th & Elrod, St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Blossom Gulch Elementary and the DMV and help shuttle spectators to the gym and back all three days for no cost.
