Four North Bend football players were honored with First Team All State selections in voting by the state’s 4A coaches following the conclusion of the 2014 season. The Bulldogs finished second in state to Gladstone. On offense, senior Cameron Lucero was named First Team quarterback. He was joined by receiver Drew Matthews (Sr.), offensive lineman Joe Rutherford (Jr.), and kicker Ian Bream (Jr.). Receiver Levi Rider (Sr.) was named to the Second Team. Rutherford (DL) and Matthews (DB) were also selected First Team defense. Marshfield’s Lance Grigsby (Sr.) was also named First Team Defense at linebacker. The Bulldogs’ Rider (LB) and junior Luke Lucero (DB) were named Second Team Defense.
