News release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. January 14, 2015 at 9:00 AM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Animal Services Deputies were dispatched to a report of a 45-50 year old male punching, kicking and dragging a dog in the street that just occurred in the area of NW 30th Street, Lincoln City. Deputies immediately responded and made contact with two witnesses who reported they saw the incident occur and where the male took the dog. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy David Martin located 51-year old Eddie Lascano at a nearby residence who was questioned regarding the incident. After investigation, Lascano was arrested and released on charges of Aggravated Animal Abuse I, a Class C Felony, with a bail amount of $50,000.
