North Coos Waterfront opened the 2018 American Legion baseball season with a doubleheader sweep at South Coos on Monday in Coos Bay. The Waterfront prevailed 10-0 & 7-4. North Coos is scheduled to host Cascade Christian Wednesday, June 20, 2 p.m., doubleheader at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend. South Coos opened their season earlier with a doubleheader loss on the road at Phoenix Saturday, 6-4, 8-7. South Coos goes to the Umpqua Lions in Roseburg also on Wednesday for a doubleheader.
