Emergency personnel were summoned to the Bandon Pacific seafood processing plant in Charleston Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 16. The anhydrous ammonia leak from a 300-pound holding tank was reported shortly after 3 p.m. The building was evacuated and one employee was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
