Boat Basin Rd., CCSO release – On June 17th, 2019 at approximately 6:25 PM, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a report from a female caller stating that she was assaulted by her daughter at her residence. Deputies arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. It appeared that the caller and her daughter, 33 year old Brittany McDaniel had evidence of a physical disturbance taking place between the two of them. The caller was transported to Bay Area Hospital for treatment for injuries that she sustained during the incident. Through the investigation it was determined that Brittany was the primary aggressor. Domestic Assault in the Fourth Degree is a mandatory arrest in the State of Oregon. Brittany was taken into custody without incident. Brittany was transported to the Coos County Jail where she was booked and lodged on the charge of Assault in the fourth degree.
