Criminal Trespass
News release CCSO. On August 30, 2017 at about 1917 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 72363 Highway 101, which is the Sea Drift Motel in Lakeside for a possible dispute. It was reported that a female had come to the reporting party’s door with blood on her face and there was an intoxicated male standing behind her. An investigation showed no assault had occurred. Deputies spoke with Richard Herrick, 59 years old of Coos Bay, at the location. Herrick had been trespassed from the motel on August 11, 2017. Herrick was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II. Herrick was heavily intoxicated and is on supervised felony probation for Theft 1 with a stipulation he cannot drink alcohol. Herrick’s probation officer was contacted and authorized a probation violation detainer. Herrick was transported to the Coos County Jail without incident, where he was booked and lodged with no bail on the probation violation. He was also booked on Criminal Trespass II charges.
Warrant Service
News release CCSO. On August 30, 2017 at about 1743 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 93703 Lower Norway LN in Coquille for a warrant service request. Deputies located Larae Withrow, 55 years old of Bandon, at the residence. Withrow had an outstanding warrant for Driving While Suspended-Misdemeanor. Deputies arrested Withrow and transported her to the Coos County Jail without incident. Withrow was booked on the warrant with $10,000.00 bail.
