Domestic Assault
Roosevelt Rd., Coos Bay, CCSO release – On October 19th, 2019, at about 5:18 hours, Coos County Dispatch received a 911 report of an assault on Roosevelt Rd in Coos Bay. The Caller stated he had witnessed two males fighting and a female getting between the two males attempting to stop the fight. The caller reported the fight had been physical and the two males had been hitting each other. Upon the Deputies arrival, the Deputies spoke to a female at the residence. The female reported the Vitim and Mr. Reese Allen Carnine had been in the living room of the residence when Reese, who was intoxicated, started asking their Amazon Alexa Device “Stupid questions”. The female said Reese continued to ask Alexa “Stupid questions”, after the victim told him to stop. The female stated Reese and the Victim began verbally arguing and continued to argue as they walked out onto the porch of the residence. On the porch of the residence, a physical altercation began, ending in Reese punching the Vitim in the face, causing injury. Reese was placed under arrest for Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was lodged on the charge.

DUII
Cape Arago Hwy., CCSO release – On October 12, 2019, at about 12:59 pm, Deputies were dispatched to 63534 Kingfisher Rd C-Dock in Charleston for a reported assault. 60 year old Donald Dewayne Roland had called Coos County Dispatch’s 911 line and reported he had been assaulted. Upon the Deputies arrival, the Deputies spoke with all parties involved and found that Roland, who was very intoxicated, had been the aggressor in the altercation. The victim declined to pursue charges against Roland for the incident. At about 4:09 pm that same day, after Deputies had left the disturbance call reported by Roland where Roland was very intoxicated, a Coos County Deputy observed Roland driving his Pontiac Sunbird on Cape Argo Hwy near Miluk Drive. The Deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with Roland. Upon concluding the DUII investigation, Roland was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Roland later provided a sample of his breath with a Blood Alcohol Content of .20%. Roland was issued a citation for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (Alcohol) and released to a friend.

Domestic Harassment
Cape Arago Hwy., CCSO release – On October 20th, 2019 at about 7:50 AM, deputies responded to Cape Arago Highway after a call to 911 that was disconnected. During the investigation deputies talked with two people, who were determined to have been involved in an altercation. After taking statements from both parties and observing physical injuries on the victim, 34 year old Perry N. Christensen was arrested for Domestic Harassment. Perry Nelson Christensen was transported and lodged at the Coos County Jail without incident.
