A 27-year old Grants Pass man was arrested by Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers early Sunday morning following a disturbance at the Jefferson State Hemp Expo in Josephine County. The man, who was naked and combative, was sedated by medical personnel before transport to a Grants Pass hospital for a medical examination prior to being lodged in jail. On August 24, 2014 at approximately 12:30 a.m., OSP troopers received a report of an aggressive naked male damaging vehicles and starting fights at a hemp expo located at 14390 Highway 238. When two OSP troopers responded to the scene at 12:40 a.m. they were led to a parking lot in a grass field where four men were restraining a naked, agitated male on the ground. A witness pointed out a vehicle in the parking lot where the suspect, later identified as TIMOTHY A. SEAUX, age 27, heavily damaged the vehicle while two frightened women sat inside. After taking SEAUX into custody, he became combative and kneed and kicked one of the troopers several times. Following a struggle, the troopers got SEAUX into the back of the patrol car where he continued to kick violently. Medical personnel had been called to the scene and they concluded that SEAUX should be sedated so he could be transported by AMR ambulance to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass. Two troopers followed the ambulance to the hospital where they positively identified him while he was being treated by hospital staff. Later in the morning when the hospital was ready to release him, OSP took him into custody and lodged SEAUX in the Josephine County Jail on the following charges: * Criminal Mischief in the First Degree; * Menacing; * Assaulting a Public Safety Officer; * Resisting Arrest.
