The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has decided to delay the start of the Oregon Commercial Dungeness Crab season until Dec. 16 because of a low meat yield detected during test crabbing along the Coast. The season would normally open Dec. 1. Further tests are being scheduled this month. Recreational crabbing is still expected to begin Dec. 1.
