Health & Human Services Mental Health Forum Series – Across the nation mental health is a topic of concern, and Coos County is no exception. The Coos County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is hosting its first Health and Human Services Mental Health Forum Series on Thursday, October 30th at 5:30 pm in the Conference Room at the North Bend Public Library. This free event hopes to draw in community members who want to know more about mental health services available in our community. Through these series we hope to raise public awareness and reduce stigma of mental illness, educate people on how to access services, navigate the mental health system and provide a forum for everyone to offer their ideas and opinions for future mental health topics.
