The City of Coos Bay has contracted with Johnson Rock Products and will be replacing the public sewer line along N. 11th Street. The limits of the project will extend along N. 11th Street approximately 100 feet north and 200 feet south of Commercial Ave. The project will replace a sewer line that was constructed in the 1950’s, and it has served its useful life. As a result, the road will be closed during the day so that the contractor can perform the work, see map below. It is anticipated that construction will commence on September 15, 2014, and it will last for approximately two weeks. Only local traffic will be allowed.
