Coos County Public Health, in an effort to curb the increase in gonorrhea cases in the area, is offering gonorrhea testing at a discounted price of $25 during the month of January. Cases of gonorrhea in Coos County have nearly doubled from 2012 to 2013. Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection and if not treated, can lead to infertility, especially in females.
