CCSO release – Recently, there was an incident that disrupted the enjoyment of Coos County Parks and worried a numbers of campers. This incident was caused by individuals who chose to disregard Coos County park rules and policies. The County wishes to ensure the public that it is committed to the County Parks being both individually and family friendly. As such, the County is committed to making the park rules readily available and enforcing those rules and regulations in order to ensure the enjoyment of County Parks by all citizens. Violations of any of those rules may result in the exclusion from the County Parks of an individual or groups for up to three years. The Parks Department is currently providing additional training to County employee to ensure that those rules are followed and if necessary enforced. The public is reminded that there are mandatory quiet time rules after 10:00 P.M.
