News release from Coos Co. SCINT.  “On 10/26/13 South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team along with Coquille Police, Myrtle Point Police and Bandon Police K9 executed a search warrant at, 910 Bender Street, Myrtle Point and contacted, CONNIE HANAN and JAMES EMRA.  As a result of that search warrant the following items were located, to include but not limited too:  Methamphetamine, Syringes, Bindles, Metal spoons w/ cotton wads, Digital scales, Snort Straws, Less than an ounce of Marijuana and Marijuana pipes.  Both Emra and Hanan will be referred to the District Attorney for charges.  SCINT encourages the public to report narcotics activity on the web by going to www.scint.us and “Report a Dealer”.”

News release from Coos Co. SCINT.  “On 10/24/13 SCINT assisted DHS with a home visit at 93815 Green Acres Rd, Coos Bay, the home of Bruce Kinsey and Charity Kinsey and Charity’s child. The contact was generated after DHS received a report of drug activity in the home around the minor child.  As a result of a search SCINT detectives located several methamphetamine smoking devices with methamphetamine. Both Bruce and Charity will be referred to the District Attorney for charges.  SCINT encourages the public to report narcotics activity on the web by going to www.scint.us and “Report a Dealer”.”

Drug Conviction

News release from SCINT.  “On 10-28-13, Crystal L. Shaffer (49 yoa) of Coos Bay was convicted for the listed crimes.  Crime(s): Six counts of Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine, seven counts of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, one count of Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, one count of Unlawful Delivery of Hydrocodone and Felon in Possession of Firearms.  The investigation began in late 2012 and extended into 2013 when a search warrant was executed at her residence, 98539 South Coos River Lane.  After a two-day jury trial, a twelve person jury unanimously found Shaffer guilty on all counts.  Shaffer was sentenced to 44 months in prison and 36 months probation.  SCINT encourages the public to report narcotics activity on the web by going to www.scint.us and “Report a Dealer”.”
