Libby Lane Accident
News release from the Coos Co. Sheirff’s Office. On March 27, 2014 at about 1705 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies, assisted by Coos Conferderated Tribal Police responded to a report of a two car injury crash on Libby Lane at Clover Drive, Coos Bay. As a result of the investigation it was determined that 19 year old Jordan Howell of Coos Bay, was driving a 2003 gold Chevrolet Impala eastbound on Libby Lane when he lost control of his vehicle crossing over into the westbound lane striking a blue 2001 Dodge Dakota pick up truck driven by Debra Robertson of Coos Bay. Both drivers and only occupants in each vehcile were transported to Bay Area Hospital by Bay Cities Ambulance for treatment of their injuries. Jordon Howell was cited for Violation of Basic Rule.
North Bay Road Accident
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On March 27, 2014 at about 2034 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle car crash on North Bay Road at the Clausen Oyster Facility, north of North Bend, Oregon. As a result of the investigation it was determined that 19 year old Tyler Waldow of North Bend was driving a 1998 blue Monte Carlo eastbound on North Bay Road when he lost control of his vehicle, crossing over into the westbound lane eventually traveling off the road way, and crashing into the Clausen Oysters Facility. Tyler Waldow the only occupant in the vehicle did not report any injuries as a result of the crash. Mr. Waldow was cited for Fail to maintain lane of travel.
