Theft & Probation Violation
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 10/03/2014 at about 12:55 pm, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to property on Snedden Lane, outside of Coos Bay to a report of a possible burglary occurring on foreclosed property recently taken over by Coos County. Deputies arrived and contacted Trisha Littles, Joseph Long and Fredrick Kuehn who had been seen rummaging around on the property. During the investigation it was learned that all 3 were currently on probation. Coos County Community Corrections was contacted at all 3 were requested to be detained. Ms. Littles, Mr. Long, and Mr. Kuehn were arrested on Probation Violation and the additional charge of theft. The subjects had been operating 2 separate vehicles when they came to the property. When all subjects were arrested, deputies made arrangements for one vehicle to be released to a third party. The second vehicle a red 1992 Honda Civic, being operated by Ms. Littles had to be left at the scene, the owner of the vehicle could not immediately come to the scene to pick the vehicle up and arrangements were made for her to come later and pick it up. When the owner of the vehicle, Cassie Littles arrived to pick up her vehicle she found that it had been stolen. It was subsequently learned that a witness had seen a male arrive at the vehicle not more than 5 minutes after the police left and drove off with the vehicle. Deputies received a sign stolen on the vehicle and it was logged in to the state and nationwide data systems as stolen. On 10-04-2014 @ about 0200 hours, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office located the stolen vehicle on 2nd St and Kruse Ave. in Coos Bay, Coos County, Or. At the time the vehicle was located it was being driven by Jacob D. Burch, 31 YOA of Charleston. Mr. Burch happens to be Cassie Littles ex-husband. Mr. Burch was arrested for UUV and Probation Violation; he was transported to the Coos County Jail and booked.

Menacing, Pointing A Firearm at Another
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On October 3, 2014, at approximately 1732 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a call about a neighbor dispute over one neighbor’s dogs killing another neighbor’s sheep in the Ridge Road area, north of North Bend, Oregon. The dispute reportedly got out of hand and one neighbor retrieved a gun and fired a shot at the other. Deputies arrived on scene at approximately 1915 hours, and contacted the involved parties. During the investigation it was learned that Adam Hecht, 55 years of age, had ridden his ATV down to his neighbor, 77 year old Fred Miller’s house with one of his dead sheep in order to confront him, as he felt one of Mr. Miller’s dogs had killed it. When Mr. Hecht confronted Mr. Miller, Mr. Miller threatened Mr. Hecht, “get out of here or I’ll shoot ya!”. Fred Miller reportedly grabbed his Ruger Redhawk, .44 Magnum revolver, walked outside, and fired a single shot into a bush at the end of his driveway just after Adam Hecht had turned the corner. Deputies seized the firearm and Fred Miller was arrested at 1920 hours for ORS 163.190 Menacing, ORS 166.190 Pointing a Firearm at Another and ORS 166.220 Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Deputies transported Fred Miller to the Coos County Jail without incident, where he was booked at about 2028 hours and held on $45,000 bail. The investigation is still continuing.

Menacing
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 10/04/14 at approximately 10:35 p.m. Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in progress located at 63570 Edwards Road near Coos Bay. After an investigation Dillon S. Rundell, 36 yoa of Coos Bay was arrested on the charges of Menacing, Criminal Mischief II and Criminal Trespass II. Mr. Rundell was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked and later released on ROR.

Assault IV
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 10/5/2014 at about 4:30 PM, a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of an assault on Brown Road near Bandon, Oregon. Investigation indicated John Deoduc (53 years old) had assaulted his adult sister, 49 year old Cassandra Schrier causing minor injury. Additionally he had refused to provide required medication/care for an elderly male, 93 year old William Deodiuc, (yes spelled differently) his father, whom he has a legal obligation to provide for. He was transported to the Coos County Jail and charged with Assault IV (Domestic) and Criminal Mistreatment II.
