Domestic Disturbance
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On September 13, 2014 at about 20:44 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at 94524 Meadow Lane, North Bend. Upon arrival Deputies contacted the involved parties where it was learned that 70 year old Myrna White had slapped and bit her husband, 76 year old James White during an argument they were having. As a result of the investigation Myrna White was arrested for Domestic Harassment. Ms. White was transported to the Coos County Jail where she was released into the Jail Staff’s custody. Mr. White did not need medical attention at the scene.
ATV Accident
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On September 14, 2014 at approximately 3:51 PM the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, along with Hauser Fire and Rescue responded to the area of Hauser Flats in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (ODNRA) for a reported ATV rollover accident. Upon arrival 51-year-old Donna Rodriguez from Sacramento California was contacted. Ms. Rodriguez was complaining of severe back pain due to rolling her quad off an embankment and pinning herself against a tree. Ms. Rodriguez was evaluated and transported to Bay Area Hospital by Bay Cities Ambulance.
