North Bend’s girls and Marshfield’s boys won the 110th Annual Coos County Track Meet in Coos Bay Tuesday night.  The Bulldog girls won with 204-points to Marshfield’s 144.  Coquille followed with 74.5, Myrtle Point 47, Bandon 39.5 and Powers 10.  Marshfield won the boy’s crown with 244-points, North Bend was second with 137, followed by Bandon with 76, Coquille 27, Powers 23 and Myrtle Pt. 14.  Outstanding athletes were selected following the meet:  Girls Thrower:  Heather Marshall, Coquille, won both the Shot Put 35-01 & Discus 102-01; Boys Thrower Hunter Bierce, North Bend, won the Discus 142-6, third in the Shot Put and fifth in the Javelin; Girls Jumper:  Elise Martin, Marshfield, won the Triple Jump 35-01, third in the Long Jump and second in the Hurdles; Boys Jumper: Giovanni Byers, North Bend, won the High Jump 6-01, and third in the Long Jump; Girls Runner:  Haley Edwards, North Bend, won the 100H in 17.22 and the 300 H in 52.12; Boys Runner:  Hunter Hutton, Bandon, won the 800 in 1:57.97, and won the Pole Vault.
