Fairview Rd, Coquille, CCSO release – On December 18, 2018, at about 2151 hours, deputies were
dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Fairview Road near Coquille-Fairview Road. Deputies arrived and spoke with the caller, who stated he had been driving east bound on Fairview Road with two of his friends, who were also juveniles, when a vehicle began tailgating him. The caller said the vehicle then hit the rear of his car and attempted to pass but then slowed down again. After the vehicle slowed and continued to drive behind the caller, the vehicle again hit the rear of the vehicle, causing severe damage. Deputies located a license plate found at the scene of the incident. On December 19, 2018 at about 1340 hours, Timothy Dean Robinette of Coquille called Coos County Dispatch and reported he had been the driver of the suspect vehicle. Robinette later admitted to following the vehicle and hitting the reporting party’s vehicle twice. Robinette was placed under arrest and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked in on the charges of Criminal Mischief 1, Three Counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Three Counts of Menacing, and Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver (Property).
