The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office are responding to a spill of several hundred gallons of red-dyed diesel into Deadman Creek in Lakeview. The diesel is from a leaking underground heating oil tank that’s used as backup heat source for a home on South G Street.
