Sandstone Ln., CB, CCSO release – On September 24th, 2019 ay about 6:55 PM, Deputies were dispatched to a report of a Domestic Disturbance off of Cape Arago Highway, in front of the Mystice Wood Mobile and RV Park located at 91323 Sandstone Lane in Coos Bay. The reporting party informed dispatch of a male and female walking northbound on Cape Arago Highway while involved in a dispute. Deputies quickly responded to the area in an attempt to locate the male and female involved. Deputies located the male at his Residence off of Tarheel Rd. During the investigation, it was learned that his girlfriend, 31 year old Amber Townsend, had pulled a knife on him during the dispute. With the assistance of Oregon State Police, Deputies were able to locate the Amber and place her into custody for Domestic Menacing and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Amber was transported to Coos County Jail and booked/lodged on those charges without further incident.
