One of the most competitive home schedules in Oregon football history will see Pac-12 play open with Washington visiting Autzen Stadium on Oct. 3, and wrap up with a Friday night visit by Arizona State, according to the 2020 football schedule released by the conference. Following a high-profile nonconference slate over the first three weeks of the season, Oregon will begin its defense of the Pac-12 championship at Colorado on Sept. 26. The Ducks then host UW a week later, and also will host conference foes Stanford on Oct. 24, Southern California on Nov. 7 and ASU on Nov. 13, a Friday. The 2020 regular season opens for the Ducks on Sept. 5, against reigning FCS national champion North Dakota State. A week later Oregon will host Ohio State, a College Football Playoff participant in 2019. The nonconference slate wraps up Sept. 19 against Hawai’i, which will have a new coach after Nick Rolovich was hired by Washington State. The Ducks will meet Rolovich and the Cougars to kick off a two-game road trip that caps the 2020 regular season. Oregon plays at WSU on Nov. 21, before concluding the regular season at Oregon State on Nov. 28. Oregon’s bye week is Oct. 10, a week before the Ducks play at California. Washington has a bye before hosting Oregon, and Arizona is at UW on a Friday night the week before hosting the Ducks on Halloween. For the second year in a row, Oregon’s regular-season schedule under the current conference rotation does not include UCLA or Utah.
