Boat Basin Rd., Charleston, CCSO release – On March 26th 2019, at approximately 6:19 pm, a Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Cape Arago Highway near Boat Basin Rd in Charleston, OR. After initial contact and observations the Deputy asked the driver, identified as 47 year old Scott Allen Miller, to perform Standard Field Sobriety tests. Miller refused to perform any tests. As a result of the Deputy’s investigation and observations, Miller was placed under arrest for DUII. A short time later Miller provided a breathe sample that registered a B.A.C. of 0.27%.
