Monday Monday.  Just thought a little tune might be a good start to a wet week.  Yes, forecasters are calling for rain showers today, actually thunderstorms and we have had a few coming in off the Pacific Ocean already this morning.  Highs in the mid to upper 60s and overnight lows in the mid 50s.  Winds out of the south to southwest at 10-15 mph.  Periods of rain on Tuesday.  Hopefully you had a good weekend.  If you like Football, you were probably in that Fall Pigskin Heaven.  We have all of the scores from high school to college and the Seahawks.  Just check out the sports section.  In the news section, mosquito warning issued.  Warm balmy weather mixed with wet weather and bingo, just right for mosquitos.  Dang it!  Heath advisory lifted at North Tenmile Lake and a few other coastal waterways up the Coast. CHW put out a release about measles in Minnesota. Despite the wet weather, debris burning still on hold according to the CFPA.  City of Coos Bay has work on 11th & Lockhart today. City of North Bend has a couple of surplus items up for sale. Quake off the North Oregon Coast and near Cape Mendocino as well.  Get Ready Coos Bay event coming up.  Are you prepared?    Big game regulations approved by ODFW commission.  They also talked about crab gear and whale entanglements. OSSA has a new video out promoting School Bus Safety. Young Farmers & Ranchers Program has a tour of the South Coat coming up. Fatal accidents over the weekend around the state involved a motorcycle, wrong way driver on I-84, a couple of two-vehicle fatalities, another motorcycle and DUII arrests locally.  In sports, still time to signup for Saturday’s Prefontaine Run.  High school prep schedules for both NBHS & MHS this week.  Prep soccer, cross country, volleyball and football results.  SWOCC VB in the state of Washington.  Pac-12 results for football, volleyball, & soccer.  And, yes, Seahawks bag a win in Pittsburgh.  Have a great Monday and thank you for reading.       Matt
