Firefighters were called into action early this morning to fight a beach fire near Bullards Beach. Firefighters from CFPA and Bandon RFD responded to the fire that was burning in driftwood and brush around 5:00 a.m. Friday morning. The fire was stopped at 1 acre with the help of a bulldozer and fire engines. The fire is human caused and under investigation. Fire danger conditions are increasing along the southern Oregon coast and people need to exercise caution when enjoying the outdoors.
