A Florence man was arrested Saturday, March 2, and charged with the Murder of his 85-year old mother. According to reports, 61-year old Kevin Lee Cooper was lodged in the Florence City Jail after police responded to a residence on the 4100 block of Munsel Ck. Dr. about 10:30 a.m. and discovered Anola Beth Cooper deceased.
