With three games to go in the 4A Far West League baseball season, defending champion North Bend has a three-game lead over second place Douglas and the two go head-to-head during the final week.  The Bulldogs (11-0) swept visiting Siuslaw Friday, 10-0 & 10-0 to remain unbeaten.  Douglas (9-3) swept visiting Marshfield 10-0 & 14-2 to stay three back of the Bulldogs.  Brookings-Harbor (7-5) swept visiting South Umpqua 5-4 & 12-3 to move into third place a game and-a-half ahead of the Lancers (5-6).  On Monday, North Bend plays at Douglas in Winston, Siuslaw (2-10) is at South Umpqua, and Marshfield (1-11) hosts Brookings-Harbor.  All at 5 p.m.; however, at 2 p.m., in Tri City, North Bend and South Umpqua will resume a game called due to darkness earlier in the league season.
