Marshfield handed the last remaining unbeaten 4A Far West League volleyball team its first loss of the season Tuesday in Coos Bay as the Lady Pirates moved into a four-way tie for first place with a 3-2 win over South Umpqua. Marshfield won 24-22, 18-25, 22-25, 25-15, 15-9. Siuslaw beat Douglas 3-1 (15-25, 25-17, 25-18, 26-24), and North Bend downed visiting Brookings-Harbor 3-0 (25-12, 25-9, 25-17). Round four on Thursday has Douglas (1-2, 3-7) at Marshfield (2-1, 7-5), North Bend (2-1, 5-3) at Siuslaw (2-1, 4-4) and Brookings-Harbor (0-3, 0-8) at South Umpqua (2-1, 4-4).
