Everyone is invited to participate (18 years and older please) or cheer on a favorite team at Coos Bay Area Habitat for Humanity’s second annual Kickball Tournament on Saturday, July 22 from 10:00 am – 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Middle School (245 S Cammann Street, Coos Bay). Teams from America’s Mattress, Bay Area First Step, Coquille Indian Tribe and Farr’s will compete for the Larry Haun Trophy, and there will be a super silent auction filled with really great items! This event is a fun way to help raise money to support Coos Bay Area Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. Coos Bay Area Habitat works in partnership with people in need to build affordable, safe, and environmentally conscious homes and help with critical home repairs for low-income families. Volunteers help provide most of the labor, while individual and corporate donors provide the money and materials necessary to build the homes.
