A free Household Hazardous Waste event is taking place at the Beaver Hill disposal site off Hwy. 101 between Coos Bay & Bandon Saturday, July 28. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. An appointment is necessary. Call the Coos Co. Solid Waste Dept. at 541-396-7624 to schedule an appointment.
