On Saturday June 30, 2018 at approximately 6:00 PM, Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on US-101 near milepost 155. Preliminary investigation revealed a blue 2017 Toyota Sienna, operated by Jeanne KROEGER, age 68, of Seal Rock, was northbound when for an unknown reason, it traveled off the road and down an embankment, eventually rolling and coming to rest on its roof. KROEGER was pronounced deceased at the scene. US-101 was closed completely for 1.5 hours, and was open to one lane for an additional hour following the crash.
