The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality initiated a 60-day comment period on Nov. 14 for a 401 Water Quality Certification as part of the Jordan Cove Energy Project’s federal in-water work application. The proposed project is a liquefied natural gas export facility located near North Bend, an on-site power plant and an associated 231-mile natural gas pipeline between the facility and Malin. Also, The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality initiated a 60-day comment period on Nov. 18 for a 401 Water Quality Certification for a proposed Oregon LNG Project.
