The Family Center at Southwestern Oregon Community College invites parents to join us for the fun and informative Kindergarten Success Begins Early Workshop at Madison Elementary School, 400 Madison St., Coos Bay. The 8-week, free workshop will be held on Tuesdays evenings 5:30 to 8:00 pm, beginning April 10, 2018 through May 29, 2018. These workshops are open to anyone involved in the life of a child ages 0-6. • Kindergarten lays the groundwork for your child’s feelings of success in school and in life. What can you do before kindergarten to help? • Learn useful tips and tricks from other parents going through the same stages. • Parents make the difference in helping children to feel empowered, resourceful and creative.
