The Klondike Fire, started by lightning, continues to burn in Curry Co. The wildfire, which had burned more than 170,000 acres by Monday morning, is located ten-miles east of Agness. Fire officials have it listed as more than 70-percent contained. On Sunday, the Klondike Fire was declared a conflagration, clearing the way for the state fire marshal to mobilize firefighters and equipment from other agencies. Evacuations have been ordered in some area.
