is proud to announce the second annual Tribute to Veterans “USO-style” show May 26, 27, and 28, 2017. Jazz favorites by the Andrews Sisters punctuated the atmosphere of the USO clubs during the 40’s and Coos Bay’s own version of a women’s trio will perform two Andrews’ Sisters favorites at the “Tribute to Veterans” Show over Memorial weekend. A live band lead by Fred Corbett will accompany everyone including the SOCC Jazz choir (recently returned from a gig at the Apollo Theatre in NYC), and tap dancing tots from Xpressions Dance Studio. Patriotic songs and choruses will be performed by local singers and musicians in an atmosphere of delight and nostalgia! Our Tribute to Veterans “USO-style” show will benefit Phase 3 of the restoration of the historic Liberty Theatre, in downtown North Bend. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7pm and a Sunday Matinee at 2pm with the box office opening 1 hour before the show. Veterans and Active Military are free at the door as a way to thank our Veterans for their unselfishness when it came to our freedom.
