Marshfield’s JV football team will take on the North Bend Bulldogs tonight, 6 p.m., at Vic Adams Field in North Bend.

The Far West League cross country championships will be held today at Brookings-Harbor, 12:30 p.m. The top two winning teams, plus individuals, will automatically qualify for the state championships Nov. 1 at Lane CC in Eugene.
OSAA vb playoffs
Marshfield received a bye from the Play-In round of the OSAA State 4A volleyball playoffs for being the Far West League champions. Second place Siuslaw is in the Play-In round and will host Tillamook on Saturday, Oct. 25. Third place Douglas will travel to Sutherlin for their Play-In match. The winners of the Play-In round will advance to play the seeded teams Saturday, Nov. 1. The winner of those matches will advance to the 4A State Tournament at Lane Community College in Eugene, Nov. 7 & 8.
