Bay Park Ln., CCSO release – On February 17, 2019, at approximately 12:21 AM, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies were notified by a neighbor that 59-year old Daniel Keller, Coos Bay, was possibly back at his residence following an altercation where Daniel fled from police on February 8th after allegedly pointing a gun at a neighbor. When Deputies arrived at the home, a man answered the door, giving the Deputies permission to search the home. When Deputies were inside the residence, a woman confirmed the suspect, Daniel Keller, was hiding in a bedroom in the back of the residence. A search of the bedroom was conducted and Keller was found hiding in the dark. Keller was arrested without incident and transported to the Coos County Jail where he was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and menacing (with a firearm).
