News release CCSO. On October 29, 2017 at approximately 9:13 am, The Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to 61052 Old Wagon Road for a report of a dispute. The suspect, David Brown, was located walking on Old Wagon Road not far from the residence, making gestures and cursing. When contacted by deputies, Brown showed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication and after determining his involvement in the call for service he was detained. The investigating Deputy contacted the victim. The deputy learned the two had been in a relationship for a year and a half. The deputy learned the victim and her grandson had threats to kill them made by Brown. The deputy learned Brown had physically attacked the victim and damaged property in the home. Brown was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail. Brown is currently held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
