Coquille, CCSO release – On March 8th, 2019 at 7:39 AM, A Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for having non-matching plates, near 23 E 1st Street in Coquille. During the traffic stop, Bandon Police Department K9 Penny and her handler were called to the scene for a check of the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. K9 Penny signaled a positive alert, which initiated a search. The search of the vehicle and all occupants inside was completed, with narcotics being located. 26-year old Skyler Waldrop, 35 year old Danielle Kelley and the operator of the vehicle, 36 year old Anthony Brown were taken into custody. Danielle was cited for Unlawful Possession of Heroin and is being referred to the Coos County District Attorney’s Office for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Danielle was booked and lodged at the Coos County Jail. Danielle’s bail was set at $25,000.00. Skyler was arrested for a Parole Violation and booked and lodged at the Coos County Jail without bail. Anthony was arrested for a Probation Violation and booked and lodged at the Coos County Jail without bail. This arrest was made with the assistance of the Bandon Police Department.
