Marshfield’s baseball team opened the 2019 prep season with a 14-0 (5 inning) win at North Valley Wednesday. Freshman Dom Montiel got the win. He struck out six of the nine batters he faced. The Pirates (1-0) play a doubleheader against Mazama Friday at Kiger Stadium in Klamath Falls.
