Marshfield’s basketball teams opened 4A District 4 play with a sweep of visiting Junction City Friday night at the Pirate Palace in Coos Bay. The boys won the opener 55-49, while the girls took the second game 59-38. Marshfield plays at Cottage Grove Tuesday with the boy’s game at 5:45 p.m., followed by the girl’s contest at about 7:15 p.m.
