Marshfield’s boys went 1-1 against two Klamath Falls area teams at the 2017 SkyWest Crossover Basketball Challenge Friday and Saturday at Hidden Valley High School south of Grants Pass. The Pirates beat Mazama in the opener 48-39, but lost to Henley 60-48. Marshfield finishes the preseason with an 8-6 record. The Pirates open Far West League play Friday in Florence against Siuslaw (8-5).
