Marshfield’s basketball teams host OSAA 4A First Round basketball playoffs games Friday and Saturday. Both Pirate teams were Far West League champions earning a home court berth for the playoffs. The Lady Pirates host Yamhill-Carlton, from the Oregon West Conference, 8:30 p.m., Friday night. The Pirate boys host Baker on Saturday, 4 p.m. Both games will be played in the Pirate Palace. The winners advance to the OSAA 4A State Basketball Championships in Forest Grove March 8-10.
