Three young boys were treated to triple scoop ice cream cones Thursday, March 26, after they helped a lost five-year old girl return to her family safely in Seaside. The young girl, visiting the North Oregon Coast with her family, got lost about 1:30 p.m. She was last seen near the Turnaround. The boys, ages 8 to 13, found her around Avenue A and walked to Seventh St. looking for her family. The mother saw them and ran to her daughter. A bystander rewarded the boys with the ice cream cones.
