North Bend’s JV girls won the 5A Midwestern League District championship at Thurston High School in East Springfield Friday, May 10.  The Bulldogs took first with 119-points, followed by Springfield & Willamette, both with 92-points.  The NBHS JV boys were fifth with 62-points, Thurston won with 146.  In the Freshmen team races, North Bend’s boys tied for fifth with Springfield (18-pts), No. Eugene won with 139.  The Bulldog girls were fifth (5), Springfield won with 116-points.  Individually:  400 1.
