According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Oct. 20, 1:17 a.m., 1600 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported suspicious subject sleeping at location. Officer contacted subject, currently wanted out of CBPD,” 30-year old Travis W. Chalmers, North Bend, charged with Failure to Appear on Contempt of Court charge. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
