Visiting Thurston swept a pair of 5A Midwestern League softball games from North Bend at the Oak St. Fields Saturday 4-3 & 15-7. The Colts are in second place (11-3, 19-5) trailing first-place Crater (14-0, 19-5). The fifth-place Bulldogs (7-7, 11-12) end the regular season May 16 at home to Ashland (3&5p).
