North Bend’s track team opened the 2018 prep season at the Siuslaw Icebreaker Meet in Florence Thursday. No team scores were kept. Bulldog freshman Jake Posey won both the 100 (11.57) & 200 (24.04). Junior Ty Hampton won both the Discus (132-04) & Javelin (177-04). Teron Cantazaro won both the Long Jump (19-01.50) and the Triple Jump (39-04). On the girl’s side, sophomore Chelsea Howard won the 100 (13.34), 200 (28.28), & Long Jump (16-01). Junior Haley Edwards won the 100H (17.53) & 300LH (52.94).
