According to an entry on the NBPD log for Jan. 16, 1600 block Virginia Ave., “vehicle vs. pole / driver left scene / officers in foot pursuit / driver placed in custody,” 34-year old Douglas S. Huntley, Coos Bay, charged with Failure to Perform Duties of Driver, Interfering with Police Officer, Elude on Foot, Disorderly Conduct, DUII, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
